Si on utilise le présent simple pour décrire une habitude ou une vérité générale, le présent BE + ING est par essence le temps de l'action.
Quand utilise-t-on le présent BE+ING?
--> pour parler d'une action en déroulement.
Ex: Thomas is doing his homework.(Thomas fait ses devoirs / Thomas est en train de faire ses devoirs.)
--> pour décrire une situation provisoire.
Ex: I am staying at the hotel until I find an apartment.(Je vis à l'hôtel jusqu'à ce que je trouve un appartement.)
